Honorary membership is conferred upon an individual for outstanding service to IACS according to Statute 3.11. The Bureau may nominate persons to the Plenary Administrative Session for recognition as “Honorary Members of IACS”. The decision is taken by the Accredited Delegates during the next Plenary Administrative Session at an IUGG General Assembly.
