Updates of IACS activities are summarized in IACS Newsletters which are published 3-4 times a year. From September 2018, the old format “News from IACS” has been replaced by the “IACS NEWSLETTER” with new format and layout. IACS Members are encouraged to contribute with information, photos and relevant news stories.

IACS introduced individual membership in February 2017 open to all persons engaging in scientific research on the cryosphere, or otherwise contributing to the objectives of the Association. The elected officers of the IACS (the Bureau), Working Group chairs and members and chairs of standing groups must be members.
